Rochester: December 24, 2010. Karl died peacefully at his home at the age of 75. He was predeceased by his parents. Edward and Helen Frey. He is survived by his wife Cheryl; children, Lisa (Rick) Bauer, Karen Frey, Eric Frey, and Alison Frey; grandchildren, Ricky, Chelsey, and Brandi Bauer, Cara and Emily Frey, and Elijah Olcott. Karl was born February 14, 1935 in Saxtons River, VT. His family moved to Rochester when he was 10. Karl was a veteran of the US Army and served in Germany during peacetime. He worked as a machinist for various companies and also as a bus driver. He was a longtime member of the Rochester Cribbage Club.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 29th from 4-8 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 30th at the Anchor Christian Church, 375 Beaver Rd., Rochester, NY 14624. Private interment.
