Rochester: Friday, May 29, 2009 at age 93. Predeceased by her parents, Harry and Henrietta Foster. She is survived by cousins, Jean Nolan, Florence Kinsella, Andy Hill, Kathy (Gary) Battaglia, Donna (Bill) Cheesman, Karen (Will) Tomkiewicz, Eileen (Bill) Meyers and Diane (Russ) Dezelan; many dear friends.
Katherine loved theatre and was a vaudeville dancer in her early years. She "retired" from the U of R several times until, in her 80's, she retired for the last time. Katherine lovingly cared for her mother and generously loved her numerous cousins and extended family. She loved life, independence, travel, family and friends and was always quick with a smile.
No prior calling. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her Memorial Service Wednesday, June 3rd, 7 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. Private Interment. Contributions may be made to Lifespan, 1900 S. Clinton Ave, 14618. Please perform an act of kindness in continuation of Katherine's gentle spirit.
