Kathleen M. Meisenzahl – KaKa
1948-2022
Predeceased by her parents, Bob and Hilda (Morris) Meisenzahl, brothers-in-law, Doug Boyd and Dave Bertsch, nephews, Tom Fiscus and Doug Brown.
Kathie survived by her partner of 20 years, Cliff Lampley.
Sisters: Lois Boyd, Sr. Dorothy SSJ, Barbara (Harold) Fiscus, Mary Ann Bertsch, Jeannie (Brian) Carpenter, Maggi (Pat) Doucette.
Brothers: Bob (Marge), Bill (Maryann), Ron (Leanna), Ed (Mary). As well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews who knew her simply as KaKa.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, July 11th at 9:30 a.m. - Sacred Heart Cathedral.
Private interment at White Haven Memorial Park
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted in Kathie's name at:
• Sisters of St. Joseph of Rochester, Rochester Motherhouse, 150 French Road, Rochester NY 14618
• Joseph's Place at The Cathedral, 287 Flower City Park, Rochester NY 14615
Kathie passed away on Sunday, July 3rd in the presence of the love of her life, Cliff. She was the middle child in a large family with 10 siblings. Kathie was the glue which held us all close and she was always ready for a party. She loved to travel and was often told she was on the road more than the yellow lines. She was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt and friend. A good listener who gave great advice. You knew you were fortunate to have been called her friend.
She will be missed by MANY.
