Kathleen M. Salem

She passed April 30, 2017 at the age of 59.

Predeceased by her sister, Loretta Kelly.

Survived by her loving children, Pamela (Robert) Host and Roger Welch; soon-to-be granddaughter, Noelle Kathryn Host; mother, Pamela DiMarco; sister, Patricia (Thomas) Wood; brother, Joseph (Lisa) Salem; along with many loving nieces and nephews.

Kathy always cherished any time she could spend with her children and always referred to them as her "greatest accomplishment in life." She loved trips with them to Rehoboth Beach, DE, where they walked the beach during sunrise, explored the boardwalk, and enjoyed family time together. She loved being outdoors at home as well, whether it was reading or spending time in her vegetable garden.

Kathy was very dedicated to Hasbro, Inc. where she worked for 21 years. The mark that she left on the company, her employees, and her peers will be long lasting. Prior to this, she spent many years at Sears where she began her working career.

Family will receive friends from 4-7pm, Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, where her Memorial Service will follow at 7:00pm.
