BROCKPORT- Kathryn S. Slattery, 43, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 2, 2019.
Katie was born in Rochester, NY on July 18, 1976 to Marcia Yockel and Stephen Hammond. Katie was a loving mother to her four children. She will be remembered for her love of motorcycles. Her door was always open without judgement, and she helped everyone she knew. Her passion in life was her family and her infectious smile.
Katie is predeceased by her father, Steve Hammond, and her loyal dog, Roxie.
She is survived by her beloved children, Riley Slattery, Connor (Nicole Reina) Slattery, Abigail Slattery, and Katrina Dominice, her mother, Marcia (Jerry Glaser) Yockel, Gary "Poppa" Yockel, her siblings, Jason (Shauna) Yockel, Eric Yockel, and Benjamin (Jess) Yockel, her grandmother, Marilyn "Great Great" Liese, the fathers of her children, Sean Slattery, Hal Brewster, and David Dominice, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY 14609, on Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 12:00pm-3:00pm, with a service at 3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Katie's name to the United Ostomy Association of America Inc., ostomy.org.
