Kenneth Anthony Derschug
Rochester: Passed November 29, 2018 at the age of 87
Survived by his friends, Al/Sally Stumpf; coworkers from Monroe County Government & World Wide News.
Due to economic conditions at the time he grew up in an orphanage in Buffalo, operated by the Sisters of Saint Frances Newman community. He worked first at Buffalo General Hospital as an X-Ray Technician, then joined the Erie County Sheriffs Department. He then joined the newly formed NYS lottery division which brought him to Rochester. He later worked for the city of Rochester, & then Monroe County. He was an internationally recognized expert in traffic safety & was chosen by the US Government to lecture on the subject in both China & Egypt. He was honorary member of the international association of chiefs of police. During his military service he also became acquainted with the Royal Family of Thailand.

Visitation will be December 4, 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. Services to follow December 5, 10am at St Ambrose Church with burial after at Holy Sepulchre
