Kenneth J. Helbling

June 18, 1965 — March 4, 2019

Kenneth (Ken) J. Helbling, 53, of Irondequoit, NY peacefully passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019.

During Ken's youth he was very active in the Boy Scouts and he was a graduate of Edison Tech. He previously worked at Calabrese Bakery and Artic Glacier (formerly Happy Ice); most recently owning his own refrigeration company, K&J Refrigeration. Ken an avid outdoorsman, would love to camp and fish, and spend time with his family.

Predeceased by his father, Julius L. Helbling; and brother, Christopher J. Helbling. He is survived by his mother, Theresa (Torba) Helbling; sister, Jennifer Helbling; brother Julius J. Helbling; brother Michael Helbling (Jennifer Bly); sister-in-law Mandy Helbling; nieces and nephews Byron Bowen, Honora Bowen, Quentin Bowen, Sophie Larevoy , Casey Daniels, Noah Daniels, William Daniels, Patience Daniels, Kyle Helbling and Liam Helbling as well as Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Calling hours will be on Friday, March 15th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at New Comer Funeral Home at 6 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY 14609. Memorial Mass Services will be held on Saturday, March 16th at 11:00 AM at St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609. Private interment.
