Rochester: Went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 19, 2008, at age 88. He is survived by his son, Lawrence "Cappy" Garno; daughter, Rachel (Thomas) Allison; granddaughters, Stephanie (Robert) Baubie and Amy (Thomas) DiFante; great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Tyler, Marlayna, Mitchell, Rebekah; sisters, Alice Orvis and Arlene (Renato) Pioli; several nieces and nephews. He was a proud life member of the VFW Post in Malakoff, TX.
Family and friends may attend visitation 4-8 P.M. Sunday at Christian Assembly, 1165 Lyell Ave., where a Funeral Service will be held 10 AM Monday. Interment White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center.
