Succumbed on Friday, August 18, 2006 at age 93. He is survived by his companion and care-giver, Mary Ann O'Heron; sons, Lawrence M. Jr. (Mercedes), Paul K. (Diane) and Anthony J. (Nancy); daughter, Mary Elizabeth (John) Elam; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter. Lawrence was a United States Army Veteran and a Purple Heart Recipient, for injuries received during the Battle of the Bulge.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 21, from 4-8 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM, St. Thomas More Church, 2617 East Ave. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Lifetime Care Hospice of Rochester, 3111 Winton Rd. S., Rochester, NY 14623-9917.
