Born 6/26/1968, Passed unexpectedly away on September 6th, 2021 at the age of 53. Predeceased by his grandparents, Lawrence and Carmella Poggi. He is survived by his father, Louis (Karen) Poggi; sisters, Gena Poggi, Laura (Bijan) Nahavandi, Deana Poggi; nieces, Antonia and Giada; nephews, Alex, Julian, Mason and Miles.
Larry started out as a DJ at his family's business, Larry's Golden Grill in Charlotte at the age of eleven. He was a great defensive football player for Charlotte High School and graduated from there in 1987. He worked independently with his own scraping business for years. He loved golf and had many friends in the Rochester music scene.
Larry was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
There will be no prior calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Larry's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl Memphis, TN 38105.
