Lawrence R. Sheffield

Larry passed away on Friday January 8th 2021 at age 84. After a hard fought battle with Dementia and finally able to be surrounded by his family, he went peacefully to his eternal home.

Predeceased by his son, Tom Sheffield. Survived by his beloved wife, Betty Sheffield of 61 years; children, Darlene (Rocco) Gervasi, Linda Harris, Steve (Michiel) Sheffield; grandchildren, Tracey Maddox, Tony Gervasi, Marc DiFrancesco, Joey (Cait) Sheffield, Melissa (Keith) Kalke & Amber Sheffield; great grandchildren, Zahria & Lillian.

Larry will be remembered by his family by having a caring and generous spirit. He was an avid walker and had a deep connection with nature and animals. Larry was the happiest when he was out in nature walking miles and miles with his dog.

Loved deeply by his family he will be greatly missed!!

The family wishes to extend a Thank You to Strong Memorial Hospital after many agonizing months of not seeing Larry. You made his last days on earth a time we will never forget. The dignity and care you gave him made a world of difference and has forever changed all of us. His passing was so peaceful, from the bottoms of our Hearts...Thank You.
