Rochester: Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at age 79. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Amend; Helen Miller mother of his children; children, David (Sally) Amend, Sandra (Joseph) Zarcone, Susan Gillette, Donald (Bonnie) Amend, Denise (Stephen) McMaster, Dale Amend and Scott Amend; step-children, Melissa (Tim) Collins and Mark (Jeanne) Cirello; 12 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends. Leland was a retiree of Delco Products.
Family and friends may call Friday 3-7 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue where his Funeral Service will follow the calling hours at 7 PM. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kirkhaven Seniors First 254 Alexander Street, Rochester, New York 14607 in his memory.
