Greece: Passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Friday, July 30, 2010 at age 89. She is predeceased by her husband, Jack VanScoter. Survived by her children, Gary (Kathleen) VanScoter, Martin (Carol) VanScoter, Gail (Hugh) Scolton and Linda (Ronald) McLaren; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister, Joyce Burwell; and sister-in-law, Marge VanScoter; several nieces and nephews. Leola was an Eastman Kodak retiree after 25 years, she was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and a member of the Spencerport United Methodist Church.
The family would like to send a special Thank You to all the caregivers at Edna Tina Wilson Living Center for the great care and friendship shared with our Mom and to our family.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 3rd from 4-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, where her Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery.
