We regret to announce the passing of Leon Hinman, a supportive husband, cherished father, devoted uncle, and beloved friend to many. Leon departed from this world on Saturday February 17, 2024 at the age of 76 , leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and wonderful memories. He was predeceased by his loving sister Margaret Hinmand and loving brother Deforest Hinman.

Survived by his loving wife, Kathie Hinman. Beloved son, Byron Hinman.
Leon was born on January 13 , 1948 in Rochester N.Y. to the late Cora and DeForest Hinman. He grew up in Rochester and was a proud member of the community throughout his life. Leon pursued a successful career in the moving business with his son Bryon as the owner/operator of Leon's Moving where he made a lasting impact on those around him with his hard work, dedication, and unwavering integrity.

As a father, Leon was a role model and a guiding light to his son Bryon. He instilled in him the values of kindness, compassion, and resilience, and his unwavering love continues to guide him through life's challenges. Leon's son was the apple of his eye, and his presence will forever be felt in the countless cherished memories they shared together.

Leon was also a treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews, whom he adored and who held a special place in his heart. His presence brought joy, laughter, and wisdom into their lives, and his legacy will continue to live on through the lessons he imparted and the love he shared with them.

To his many friends, Leon was a source of endless joy, laughter, and companionship. His warm smile, quick wit, and kind heart endeared him to all who had the privilege of calling him a friend. Leon's friendship was a blessing that brought comfort and happiness to so many, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Leon leaves behind a vast network of family and friends who will forever cherish the moments shared with him. While our hearts are heavy with grief, we take solace in the fact that his memory will live on in the laughter, love, and wisdom he shared with us all.

Family and friends are invited to join together to celebrate the life of a remarkable man who touched the hearts of so many. We will g ather to share our memories, offer our support, and find comfort in the loving embrace of one another during this difficult time.

Visitation will be held Monday February 26, 2024 fro 2-4 pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (GREECE LOCATION). Leon's life will be celebrated immediately following calling hours at 4 pm. Interment will be held in the Spring, Garland Cemetery, Clarkson, NY.
