Passed away peacefully on Sunday January 16, 2022, at age 90.
Predeceased by her husband, Kostas Maciulis; parents, Anthony and Frances Baranauskas; brothers and sister.
Lillian is survived by her children, Rita (Jonas) Sipaila, Nijole (Rawy Shediac) Ladd, John (Linda) Maciulis, Kristine (Thomas) Shaw, Richard Maciulis and Deborah (Joseph) McCaffrey; grandchildren, Tomas, James, Kevin, Jason, Katie, Shannon, Sandra, Scott, Bernard, Jessica, Richard, Melanie and Matthew; and many Great Grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and Great nieces and nephews.
Lillian was known as the 'Mushroom Lady' for her love of hunting mushrooms in the wild, she even had a letter from the Commissioner of Parks for permission to pick them.
As a child and teenager she enjoyed, bike riding, ice skating, berry picking, dancing and moviegoing.
She taught herself how to do all kinds of needle work and she distributed these through gifts to loved ones.
Lillian was an excellent piano player, a Lithuanian Folk dancer and sang with the St. George's church choir.
She enjoyed bowling and table tennis and participated in tournaments for both. She also was great at playing horseshoes.
Lillian enjoyed puzzles, playing Euchre and Bingo, shopping and eating ice cream.
She was an avid reader as well.
Lillian and Kostas enjoyed trips throughout the United States and Europe.
Lillian worked as a telephone operator at Bausch & Lomb and finished her career as a keypunch operator at Xerox.
Lillian wants to be remembered as a good person and as someone who loved the Holidays and gatherings with her family.
She and Kostas's traditions so loved and shared will continue through her children, grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed.
