Gates: Passed peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer Sunday, July 12, 2009 at age 79. Predeceased by her first husband, Albert Forsythe and mother, Ruth Marino. She is survived by her husband, John; daughters, Cynthia (Emmanuel) Ong and Tammy Tackling; grandchildren, Andrew and Leah and Alexis; faithful canine companion, Schultzy; nephews, Tom (Sue) and Bill Forsythe. Lois was a member of the Rebekahs and a Bus Driver for Gates-Chili School District for 25 years.
Family and friends may attend calling hours 5-9 PM Thursday at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Memorial Service will be held 12 NOON Friday at Gates Presbyterian Church, 1049 Wegman Rd.
