Larry, died unexpectedly on August 15, 2020 in Kenosha, WI.
He was born December 23, 1947 in Frosinone, Italy, to Guiseppina (Catallo) and Pasquale. Larry moved to East Rochester, NY as a child, where he lived for most of his life.
Larry was a devoted Catholic, an East Rochester High School wrestling champion, a proud graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, a dedicated engineer who passed on his love of science to his children and grandchildren, a gardener who grew pears and hazelnuts, and a tinkerer who fixed up bicycles and lawnmowers. He was always ready and willing to help a neighbor in need. He enjoyed having long conversations with close family and friends in his backyard over a sandwich and cake with ice cream.
Survivors include his 3 sons, Carmin Loreto DeCiantis (Julia) of Northborough, MA, Christopher Loreto DeCiantis (Alyssa) of Brookfield, WI, Joseph Loreto DeCiantis (Amy) of Lynchburg, VA whom he shared with former spouse, Mary (Quadrini); his 8 grandchildren, Branden, Kayla and Nathan (Carmin), Genevieve and Grant (Christopher), and Mariella, Michael and Matthew (Joseph).
He is predeceased by his loving parents. Larry's life will be celebrated in WI, and burial will take place at White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford, NY.
