Loretta Mitchell-Ellis

Passed away on October 24, 2024 at the age of 79. 

Predeceased by her husband, Harry Ellis; parents, Leo and Nellie Mitchell; & beloved dog, Heidi.

She is survived by her sister, Kathy Schommer; nephews, Glen & Brian (Dawn Duprey) Schommer; great-niece, Jillian Duprey-Schommer; great-nephew, Alex Duprey; and many cousins and close friends.

Laurie was very active in her life. She enjoyed boating at her parents' home on Conesus Lake. She liked to travel and explore new places. In her younger years, she even took flying lessons and flew a glider.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Wednesday October 30, 2024 at St. Stanislaus Church, 1124 Hudson Ave. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Avenue.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Laurie's honor to Golisano Restorative Neurology & Rehabilitation Center, 1555 Long Pond Rd.
