resident for over 50 years. Predeceased by his loving wife,
Frances; devoted son, Roger; grandsons,Laverne and Timothy;
great-granddaughter, Alexandra; and brother, Eugene.
He is survived by his son, Louis (Carolyn); daughters, Ruth (Phil) Smith,
MaryEllen (Dave) Pittman, Frances (Gerald Bird) McPherson;
daughter-in-law, Dixie Messenger; grandchildren, Angelina, Adam, April, Ann, Curtis,David, Ryan, Francine, Christopher and
Gerald Jr.; step-grandchildren, Tammy, Dave, Mandy and Tara;
great-grandchildren, Amanda, Samantha, Frankie, AJ, Katie and Alexia;
step great-grandchildren,Serena, Bailey, Sahara and Jasmin;
sisters- in-law, Harriett Messenger, Rosemary Bailey and Florence McComber; several nieces and nephews. Wes was a WWII Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Jacobson Post #474. Wes retired from Eastman Kodak Co. in 1978 after 30 years of service.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, (July 19th) from 5-7:30 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue where a Military Service will
follow at 7:30 PM. Followed by his Funeral Service at 8PM
Private, interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in his memory.
