She was born June 10, 1926. She died peacefully in her sleep at her long-term care residence in Greece, NY.

Predeceased by her husband Joseph C. Gross, daughter Barbara A. DeFazio, granddaughter Laura M. Gross, and great granddaughters Melanie Lynn and Kaelynn Brianna DeFazio.

She is survived by her sons John (Sue), Paul (Debra), James (Ann), and son-in-law Sam DeFazio. Grandchildren Andrew (Chrys), Christopher (Sara), Valerie (RJ Kumar), Kimberly (Travis Beaver), Brian (Kristi) DeFazio, Steven, Rachel (Kyle) Feeney, and William. Great grandchildren Grant, Hailee, Lucas, Evangelina, Lily Marie, Justin, Lily Ann, Benjamin, Braeden, Maesen, Carter, Bailey, Nick and Zac. Great great granddaughter Adley.

Louise did several chores, and Joseph ushered at Holy Apostles and Our Mother of Sorrows Churches for years. She lived independently until last August when she fell and broke her hip. It was after that she moved into a long-term care residence at Latta East Nursing Facility (special thanks to their staff for her wonderful care). She loved her family, gardening and working puzzles.

No calling hours afforded. Louise's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd., Rochester, NY 14612 on Thursday 2/24 at 10:30AM. She will have a Graveside Service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Heart Association on-line or to P.O Box 417005, Boston MA 02241-7005 in Louise's memory.
