Rochester: Loving wife and mother passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at age 79. Predeceased by parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Blanda; brother, Andrew Blanda; and grandson, Samuel Thomas. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 yaers, Salvatore "Al"; children, Thomas (Cathlene), MaryLou Weigert, John (Wendy); grandchildren, Sarah, Jordan, Thomas Jr., Brittany; great-granddaughter, Morah; sisters-in-law, Rosemary Blanda, Mary Finazzo, Lucy (Frank) DeSino, Antionette Travaglino; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Corky Mee.
There will be no prior calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 9 AM at St. Thomas More Church, 2617 East Ave., Rochester, NY 14610. Private Interment at a later date. Do-nations may be made to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, 4053 Maple Rd., Suite 110, Amherst, NY 14226.
