Rochester: Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at age 77. Predeceased by her parents, Lynden and Flora Dorothy (Baker) Perkins; sister, Margaret Norman and brother, Ivan Perkins. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Vernon M. Adams; son, Glen (Mary) Adams of LeRoy; daughters, Dawn (Donald) Maitlen of TX., Vicki (Ronald) West of MI, Kathy (Michael) DiMaria of Rochester; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara (Glenn) Evers of MI and Raye (Dennis) Laughlin of TX.; brothers, John Perkins of OH., Lynden (Martha) Perkins of OH and Stephen (Nora) Perkins of WA.; nieces and nephews.
Lynda was a member of the Edgewood Free Methodist Church and retired from the University of Rochester Medical Center.
No prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her Memorial Service on Saturday, April 26th at 2 PM at Edgewood Free Methodist Church, 250 Edgewood Ave., Brighton. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Edgewood Free Methodist Church Memorial Fund or the Alzheimer's Association in Lynda's memory.
