Chili: Sunday, April 11, 2010, at age 68. After a courageous battle with lymphoma, he passed away peacefully while surrounded by loving family. Predeceased by wife, Lillian and father, Edward. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy (Saviano); children, Richard (Michele Alphonse), Kristine (William) Sanborn, Amy (Ron) Richmond, Rebecca (Patrick McLenithan); grandchildren, Andrew, Zachary, Kaylee, Tyler, Billy, Jessica, Nathan, Nickolas, Justin, Christian, Holly (Gary), Shawn, Heather (Nick); sister, Judith Miller; brother, Geoffrey (Kate); several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a multitude of friends.
Lynn was a retired teacher from the T.J. Connor School in Wheatland. He was also an avid fly fisherman and a lifelong member of the Phillip Garbutt Rod & Gun Club.
Family and friends may attend calling hours 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM Tuesday at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 2 PM Wednesday at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 15 St. Martin's Way. Private Interment, Rest Haven Cemetery in Phelps, NY. Donations in Lynn's memory may be made to Phillip Garbutt Rod & Gun Club, 1600 Bausch & Lomb Place, Rochester, NY 14604 or Wilmot Cancer Center.
