Margaret "Lorraine" Kaseman (Earl), 88
With her family by her side and with strength, dignity, love and faith...M. Lorraine (Earl) Kaseman ascended into the Hands of God to her final, beautiful resting place in Heaven on August 29, 2022.
Born in York, New York on April 3, 1934, to Edward and Grace (Copeland) Earl, Lorraine spent her childhood on the farm with her siblings Edward Jr., Andrew, Joanie and Eunice. As a young adult she moved to the "big city" of Rochester with her best friend and cousin, Betty and two others living in a one- bedroom apartment , and began her career at Eastman Kodak Company.
It was during this time she met John Emmett Kaseman and fell in love. John and Lorraine ultimately settled in the Village of Spencerport raising their family of nine kids; David (Rita), Daniel (Terry), Johnny, Peter (Sue), Paul (Janis), Mary Beth (David), Ann Marie, Kathleen and Christine.
For those that knew her they loved her, as she was the epitome of love, loyalty, and grace. Nothing was more important to her than her family and every single family member felt her love and commitment with each word and action. Her kind spirit was contained in a little body but she was a giant in her love, acceptance, kindness and compassion; this reach went far beyond her family. Lorraine embraced the friends of her children and grandchildren as her own, opening up her home to all, always with a kind word, warmth, love and her sheepish grinning laugh.
Beyond her pride in her children was the immense love she had for her 17 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. Her vast love and enormous heart embraced each of them and will continue in her spirit. Her greatest joys in life were when she progressed from "Mom" to "Grammy" and ultimately "GG".
Throughout her 88 years she will fondly be remembered rocking a baby in her lap, as recently as the day prior to her homecoming.
Lorraine was a gentle soul, always with a kind word, a hand to hold, an ear to listen and a shoulder to lean on. She loved and supported her family unconditionally.
Anxiously awaiting her at the Hands of God is her adoring husband of 57 years, John Kaseman as well as her sons John Jr., Paul, Peter and daughter, Ann Marie.
Lorraine's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 3rd, 11am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 55 Martha St., Spencerport. Interment, Grove Place Cemetery.
