Mabel K. Farrow

October 29, 1944 — August 22, 2022

77, of Webster, NY on August 22, 2022 after a long battle with Crohn's disease.

Mabel was born on October 29,1944, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Remmel. A lifelong resident of Webster, she graduated from R.L. Thomas in 1964 and began working at Gleason Works. While joining friends in a bowling league, she was soon swept off her feet by a dapper gentleman from England. He wooed her with tales of drinking tea with the Queen and going to pubs with the Beatles. She married the love of her life, Douglas, in June 1971. Soon their family grew with the birth of their daughter, Michele, on her birthday and son, Michael four years later.

Mabel enjoyed traveling with her family, spending summers visiting relatives in England, or "road tripping" to the Adirondacks, 1000 Islands, and Niagara Falls. She was an avid crafter, especially enjoying sewing, knitting and crocheting. She loved Elvis, Red Wings baseball, Hallmark movies and palm trees at the beach. Mabel will be missed dearly by all who loved her.

Predeceased by her parents, husband of 44 years, Doug; her sister, Shirley Cicero, brother Joe "Butch" Remmel and other beloved family members, special pets Foxy Lady and Theo.

Mabel is survived by her daughter Michele (Jon) Donnelly, son Michael (Erin) Farrow, grandchildren Myla and Cameron Donnelly, sister Delores Schlicker, brother James (Tammy) Remmel, sister in laws Sue Remmel and Joyce Farrow, several nieces, nephews, extended family and many special friends.
