Survived by his mother, Shannon Holmes; step mother, Patricia Bess; step father, James Atiba Penn; siblings, Shavontae Unique McCloud, Ernest Eugene McCloud Jr., & Zanyla Asante Penn; grandparents, Evelyn Dennis & Sherlock (Heartwill) Holmes Sr.; god parents, Marcia & Larry Debose; aunts & uncles, Steve (Shatanese) Reese, Yolonda Stergis; Sherlock Holmes Jr.; DK Holmes; William Bell Jr., Deborah Dennis, Samantha Holmes, Sonja (Greg) Knight, Jamell Dennis, & Sandra (Abdullah) Tyler; niece, Mahdae Unique Spears; & a host of cousins, family, & friends.

Graduated from East Irondequoit High School in 2018. He loved music, football, & his family.

Malachi was a beautiful soul who did his very best to gain normalcy with a battle we could never imagine. But he never stopped his growth to navigate through this world.

Calling hours will be Saturday February 3, 1-3pm with service following 3pm at Greater Harmony Missionary Baptist, 60 Grand Ave, Rochester, NY 14609.
