Marcia Bertram

Passed with family by her side on October 6, 2021 at the age of 82.

Predeceased by her husband, Frederick P. Bertram.

Survived by her children, Maryann (Eric) Bertram-Hickey & Peter (Leah) Bertram; grandchildren, Heidi Bertram, Kip Bertram, Nathan Hickey, Derek Bertram, & Ryan Hickey; brother, Tony Jones; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, & friends.

There was a fun loving, compassionate, and adventurous young lady who came to the US from Wales many years ago. She traveled in style on a freight ship on the Northern Atlantic in January. She probably had no idea how that trip would impact so many people. As many know, she was the most selfless person around. She also surrounded herself with the most amazing friends. she often made sacrifices her family and others. She would make meals for the sick, visit people in the hospital and nursing home, drive people to church, knit sweaters for young mothers, and would let people live with us that needed a temporary home. Everyone knew she would drop everything to talk, but more importantly listen. She was called mom and grandma by family but also people that she cared for. She will be deeply missed.

Private burial will take place at Riverside. Memorial to take place at a later date.
