Passed peacefully Thursday, November 4, 2010 at age 81. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert C. Greenawalt, Sr.; sons, Robert C. Jr., James Edward, Patrick Louis; daughters, Margaret Mary, Karen Rose; grandchildren, Kristina, Robert III, Karla, Megan, Caiti, Laura, Molly, Brian; great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Thomas, Jr., Brooklyn; sister, Hiltrude; brothers, Jim, Michael, Edward; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many friends.
Peggy received her Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Letters from St. Francis College, Joliet, IL; her Teaching Degree from Ashland College, Ashland, OH. and her Nursing Degree from Ohio State College.
Family will receive friends Friday 6-8 PM (TODAY) at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 10 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 4100 Lyell Rd., Rochester, NY 14606. Interment Oak Grove Memorial Park, Lexington, OH. Donations may be made to the Church.
