Margaret "Peggy" Karn nee Mellon, 77, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2021 after a brief illness.
She was born November 28, 1943 in Far Rockaway, NY to the late Jack and Syde Mellon.
Raising three kids on her own, a great source of pride for Peggy was seeing and experiencing her children's professional accomplishments. Her grandchildren were a source of great joy and seeing them grow brought her immense happiness. She was fiercely independent and stayed busy working full-time until she was no longer able to. She was extremely funny and was a dear friend to so many.
She is survived by three children, Mike (Lori) Karn, Mitch Karn, Stephanie (Jon) Doherty; and four grandchildren, Chance Karn, Grace Doherty, Rogan Doherty and Logan Karn.
A celebration of life for Peggy will be held at a later date. Check back website for details.
