Passed away on July 4th, 2022 at the age of 70. Predeceased by her parents, Henry and Elizabeth Umhofer; sisters, Gertrude DeCarlo and Patricia Marcano; niece, Sharon DeCarlo and special friend, Jane Cody. She is survived by her nephews, Mark Umhofer, Andre (Desiree) Madera; great-nephews, Brett and Jacob; aunts, Virginia Bott and Barbara Ann De Bruyn; Special friends, Laurie Wolfe, Amy Ross and Marie Pillion; loving companion, Ellie. Margo's family would like to thank the staff at Pluta Cancer Center and the ICU at Highland Hospital for their care. Margo retired from the University of Rochester Medical Center after 50 years of service. Family will receive friends from 4PM - 7PM on Tuesday July 12th, 2022 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. A grave side service will be held on Wednesday July 13th, at 11AM at Mt. Hope Cemetery meeting at the front gate. Contributions may be made in Margo's name to Jessica's Heroes Foundation 117 East Railroad Street Oneida, NY 13421.
