Irondequoit: Died peacefully Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at her home of over 70 years at age 95. She is predeceased by her parents, Julius and Elodie Soenen; husband, Bernard G.; son, Lawrence; sisters, Mary, Ann and Elodie. She is survived by her son, Robert; daughters, Patricia (Bill) Simon, Edye Cordy; grandchildren, Marie (Doug) Thomas, Ginny Vragel, Mike (Becky) Vragel, Pete (Annette) Vragel, Cindy (Mike) Mizerny, Tammy (Eric) Carney, Dakota Herold, Leon (Ann) Hoberton, Tammy Hoberton; along with many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Marguerite was a Girl Scout Leader, Charter member of Ridge Culver Ladies Auxillary, St. Cecilia's Ladies Guild. Member of Legion of Mary, Catholic Golden Age, F.I.S.H. Organization, St. Salome's Rosary Solidarity and a Eucharistic Minister.
The family will receive friends Friday August 7th from 6-9 P.M. at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Church, 2732 Culver Rd. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Cecilia's Church.
