Passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at age 91. Predeceased by her husband, Luciano Taccia; parents, Concetta and Giuseppe DiNisi and sister, Anna Giblirasi.
She is survived by her son, Emanuele (Sharon) Taccia; daughters, Concetta (Luciano) Barbone and Giuseppa (Vittorio) Costabile; grandchildren, Loredana (Dino) Gatto, Claudia (Peter) Maier, Armando (Katie) Costabile, Emanuele (Melissa) Taccia, Danielle (Michael) Fedele, Marilisa (Steve) Ostrander; Elaine (Nino) Pilato, Sue (Paul) Sausa; several great grandchildren; sister, Rosa DiNatale; brother, Antonio (Nuccia) Pardo; several nieces and nephews.
Private services to be held at the convenience of the family. Maria will be entombed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Maria was a loyal and devoted wife and mother. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Maria had many friends that she loved making memories with. She was talented homemaker and tailor. Always caring for others, Maria loved sharing her delicious homemade bread and other goodies she put love into. Maria was always elegantly dressed, even while doing her daily routine. Although her family will miss her deeply, they find comfort knowing she is with the Lord and reunited with her husband.
