Greece: Born in Rome, NY, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2009 at age 97. Predeceased by her husband, Charles; son, C. Timothy; daughter-in-law, Doris; and son-in-law, Richard Bowman. She is survived by her children, Joan Bowman, Thomas (Anne) Elphick, Maureen Marra, Craig (Esther) Elphick, Bonnie (Donald) Kuhn, Peggy Nesbitt and Julie (John) Martinelli; daughter-in-law, Marie Elphick; 34 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and also 2 foster children;.
Family and friends may call Friday TODAY 4-8 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 9:30 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Brockport, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Unity Living Center at Park Ridge c/o Unity Health Foundation, 1555 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626 in Marie's memory.
