Albion: Died Friday, March 19, 2010 at Lakeside Hospital in Brockport at age 72. She was born in Albion to the late Walter and Hazel Batt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Elinor Belson and Doris Townsend; brothers, Willfred and Bob Batt. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Charles; son, Charles (Chris) Sevor of Albion; daughter, Mary Short Bull of SD; 2 granddaughters, Kara (Ann) Close, Chandra Gilman; grandson, Michael Sevor; 2 great-granddaughters, several nieces and nephews and son-in-law Edward Gilman.She was an employee of the Albion Central School District for 29 years as a bus driver
At Marilyn's request, there will be no prior calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Orleans County Hospice, 14080 State Rte 31, Albion, NY 14411-9301.
