Predeceased by her son Carl E. Allen.
Survived by her son, Claude A. Allen; grandchildren, LaCarla (James) Carter, Jimell (Maryann) Allen. Several great grandchildren.
Marilyn was known to be a feisty woman with a heart of gold, she owned her own beauty shop on Prospect St. for over 20 years as a hairdresser.
She will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
Family will meet friends, Monday June 5, 2017, 10 am at the main gate of Mt. Hope Cemetery where graveside services will take place.
