ROCHESTER- Marilyn T. Wheeler, 90, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family.
Marilyn was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 3, 1931 to the late Charles and Evelyn Rhodes. She was the beloved wife to the late Raymond Wheeler for 47 years until his passing in 2005. Together they raised one daughter, Evelyn Wheeler. Marilyn worked as a voting inspector for over 30 years. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her passion in life was her family.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Ray, and her brother, Clarence.
She is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Wheeler, her grandchildren, Victoria (Christian Morales) Hall, Joseph (Samantha Woodhams) Sciortino Jr., and Raeanna Wheeler, her great-grandchildren, Anthony Hall, Layla Hall, and Joseph Sciortino III, and her son-in-law, Frank Galloway.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626, on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 4-7pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Theodores Church, 168 Spencerport Rd, Rochester, NY 14606, on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 9:30. Burial will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester, NY
