Passed away on January 22nd, 2023 at the age of 72. Predeceased by her parents, Warren and Rosemary Hammersla; step-mother, BetteJayne Hammersla; sister, Janice Mae McKain.
She is survived by her children, Richard (Josie) Bradley and Barbra (Eric) Lavelle; grandson,Liam Lavelle; brother, Warren (Arleen) Hammersla; brother-in-law, Michael McKain; Nieces, Christine (McKain) Roth of Rochester, Cynthia (McKain) Tremeau of Leesburg, Va.; grand-niece, Molly Hammersla; nephews, Stephen (Noelle) McKain of Seattle, Wa., Jason (Jessica) Hammersla, Darren (Denise) Hammersla; great-nephews, Tyler Roth, Corey Roth, Christian Roth, Devon Tremeau, Kieran McKain and Gavin McKain.
Family will receive friends on Thursday February 9th 2023 from 4PM - 7PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. A Memorial Mass will be held on February 10th, 2023 at 930AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church 3003 Dewey Ave Rochester, NY 14616. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Contributions may be made in her name to PKD foundation in support of research for treatments or cure for Polycystic Kidney Disease at PO Box 871847 Kansas City, MO 64187 or by going to PKDcure.org.
