Mark John Sutton of Gates, NY died on May 27th after a short battle with cancer. He was 55 years old.
Born on March 30, 1967, he grew up in Irondequoit NY. He graduated from Irondequoit High School in 1985. He had a long career in the tool and die industry, working at several shops in the Greater Rochester area.
He was an incredibly intelligent man, his family recalled, and was always eager to share his humor with everyone around him. He had a great passion for animals and always surrounded himself with pets all his life.
He is survived by his life partner Kathleen Ramsdell; his father William G. Sutton of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; his mother Constance A. Sutton of Whitesboro, NY; his brother William P. Sutton of Riverhead, NY; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society, would be appreciated by the family.
