Marlene Marie Ward
August 6, 1952 — July 15, 2023
Passed peacefully surrounded by family July 15, 2023 at the age of 70.
Predeceased by her husband, Richard Ward Sr.; parents, Robert & Alvena Unger; step-son, Michael Ward Sr.; & siblings, her twin, Mark Unger, Starr Beam, Dale Unger, Peggy Welchel, & John Unger.
Survived by children, Donald R. (Julie) Savage, Jennifer Goodwin, & Christine Tatner; many step-children; grandchildren, Daniel, Patrick, Jessica, Colby, Kiara, Kori, & Tanner; great granddaughter, Dakota; siblings, Robert (Peggy) Unger Jr., Dawn Class, Susan Sharfstein, & Crystal (Tom) Barcomb; & many nieces, nephews, family & friends.
Marlene was a Spencerport School District transportation employee, a job she loved, especially being a bus driver & was proud to have. She was also a proud member of the United Methodist Church in East Bloomfield. Marlene Volunteered her time at Parkridge Transitional Care.
Marlene was a loving mother, grandmother, & great grandmother.
Visitation will be Thursday July 20, 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. Funeral services will be the following day 12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. Burial following at White Haven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in Marlene's honor to The American Heart Association.
