Greenville- Martin W. Nabut, 95, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.
Martin was born in Bronx, NY to the late Emanuel and May Nabut on January 19, 1924. Martin was a WWII Vet who served in Italy and Austria. After his military service he received his masters degree from Columbia University. Martin worked in public relations for the U of R Laser Lab, and Bell Labs, and in 1989 he retired from AT&T. He loved sailing, jazz music, and for the last 30 years playing his flute.
Martin is predeceased by his first wife, Sonya Nabut, his sister, Gladys (John) Markus.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Norma Nabut, his children, Jenifer (Tim) Mahan, Peter (Emily Dunn) Nabut, Jonathan (Kelley Barrick) Nabut, Susan Howell, Lauren (Jake Fleisher) Howell, and Steve (Marcie) Howell, his seven grandchildren, Jordana, Joliene, Toby(Melissa), Noa, Bibi, Ava, and Pascalle, his two great-grandchildren, Tres, and Trevor, and his nephew, David (Joy Glucksman) Markus.

A "Viking Funeral" will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
