ROCHESTER- Martina A. Hines, 59, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 surrounded by the love of her family.
Tina was born in Memphis TN, on November 4, 1961 to Jessie and James Powell. On September 15, 2001 she married Glenn Hines. She was a Claims Analyst in the medical field for 15 years. She will be remembered for her love of singing, dancing, shopping, and her style. She was a female O.G. Her passion in life was her family.
She is predeceased her grandparents, and uncle.
She is survived by her parents, Jessie and James Powell, her husband, Glenn Hines, her children, Justina (Tobias) Newsome, and Donald (Mykal) Stevens Jr., her sisters, Cassandra (David) Morrison, and Janice (Anthony) Hall, her grandchildren, Terrod Jr., Trinity, Myla, Journey, Draya, and Donald III, her step-children, Shante Diggles, Matthias Wilburn, Canieya Williams, Glenn Hines Jr., her step-grandchildren, Dayland, Daesan, and Jaslyn, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends, and church family..
Calling hours will be held at Faith Church 1876 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14620, on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 from 10:00am-12:00pm with a service at 12:00pm. Masks are required. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
