Passed peacefully surrounded by loving family September 26, 2010 at age 86. Predeceased by her husband, Brian J. Callan; daughter, Sheila Callan; son, James Callan; parents, George H. and Audrey K. Burns. She is survived by her brother, George H. Burns II; son, Brian J. Callan Jr.; daughters, Susanne Callan-Harris (David Harris), Lisa Callan; grandchildren, James (Hillary) Callan, Daniel Mott, Kevin (Carey) Harris , Georgeann Lang, Jason Mott; great-grandchildren, Max and Henry Callan, Tara, Sam, Jacob, Eric, Ryan and Elijah Lang, Douglas Mott; nieces and nephews, Michelle and Michael Callan, Patty and Gary Herman, Margaret and Michael Marasco, Joseph and Mary Eileen Callan, Mona, Christopher, Michael (Shelly) Callan, MaryBridget and Victor Roman, Teresa (Allan) Valentine, Sandra Wing, George and Mary Burns, Christopher and Peggy Burns, Timothy Burns, Mary and Mark Deas, William and Marge Burns; many dear friends from St. John's Meadow and The Athenaeum of which Ginger was a founding member. She also volunteered at the Isaiah House.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, October 9, 2010 at St. Anne Church, 1600 Mt. Hope Ave where a reception will follow services at the church social hall. Donations may be made to Isaiah House, 71 Prince St., Rochester, NY 14605.
