Rochester - Mary passed away peacefully on February 7, 2024 at the age of 80 after a short illness.
Predeceased by her parents, James & Mary Bognar; sister, Judith Gauthier.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Davenport; sister, Christine Bognar; many cousins & dear friends.
Mary was born in Buffalo. She graduated from Bishop McMahon High School. She worked in Buffalo at Monroe Abstract and Niagara Mohawk. She met her husband Robert and married in 1975 and moved to Rochester. In Rochester she enjoyed gardening, writing poetry and many trips to Maine.
Family wishes to thank the Highland Hospital 6th Floor Nursing Team and the hospice team at Highland for the wonderful care they provided for Mary.
Additionally, a special thank you to the medical team at Highland for their care and support given to Mary and her family.
Family will receive friends 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Saturday, February 10, 2024 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Burial will be Private.
