ROCHESTER- Mary Jane "Mama G" Giertz, 87, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 surrounded by the love of her family.
Mary Jane was born in Newfane, NY on November 21, 1933 to the late Leon and Dorothy Thompson.
Mary Jane is survived by her children, Larry (Lois) Moore, Patricia Moore, Mary Ann Watkins, Cheryl (Brad) Herington, Cindy (David) Schlosser, Gary (Maribel) Giertz, and Steve Giertz, her 11 grandchildren, her 15 great-grandchildren, and her siblings, Leon (Kate) Thompson Jr., and Sally Thompson.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
