She is survived by Father, William M. Birecree; Siblings, Barb, Sharon (Joe) Morgan, Bill (Olena), Laurie (Steve) Kiefer; Nephews, Brian & Andy Morgan; Nieces, Jess & Taya Birecree.
Mary Jo was educated at St. Lawrence, Cardinal Mooney, SUNY Fredonia & Canisius University. Mary Jo taught at Rochester School for the Deaf for 30 plus years.
A funeral mass will be held Tuesday August 8th, at 9:30AM at St. Lawrence Church 1000 N. Greece Rd.
