GREECE, NY- Mary A. Luccitti, 84, loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 30, 2019. Originally from Ontario, NY, she lived in Greece for over 55 years.
Mary is predeceased by her two brothers, John and Thomas, her two sisters Petrina and Josephine and other dear family members.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Benjamin A. Luccitti, Jr.; their children, Mark Luccitti (Becky) and Lisa Doerner (Mike); grandchildren Ashley, Amanda, Leah and Paul; sisters in law Linda Folk (Jay), Barbara Luccitti, Ida Agnello; brother in law Carl Rizzo and many nieces and nephews.
Mary worked for many years at Kodak where she met her husband. While raising her children, she worked in the Greece Central School District and also spent 14 years working at Logos Christian Bookstore, where she made many cherished friendships.
Mary was the center of her family, and large extended family, hosting many years of 4th of July parties and the Christmas Eve get togethers. Despite years when cancer may have slowed her down, she would not let that stop the importance of connecting the family. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends that she touched during her life.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held at Greece Assembly of God, 750 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612, on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11:00am.
