Rochester: Passed away peacefully Thursday, February 26, 2009 at age 82. She is predeceased by her brother, Dominic Verdi. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Jerome; children, John, James, Karen (Jim) LaGraff, Kathy Washnis; grandchildren, Medium John, Kile and Jessie Washnis, Paul and Maxwell LaGraff; sister, Frances Kalafut; brother, James Verdi; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Family will receive friends Monday, March 2nd from 4-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. Mary's Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 AM at the Chapel of the Episcopal Church Home, 505 Mt. Hope Avenue. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Episcopal Church Home Dementia Care Unit.
