Mary E. "Mary Lou" Mikel
Rochester: Passed January 13, 2024, at the age of 96.
Predeceased by her husband, Donald F. Mikel Sr.; daughter, Susan (John) Kostyj; son-in-law, Carl Beaver; brothers, Jack Haag and Jim (Jean) Ring.
Survived by her children, Mary (Larry) Conte, Donald F. Mikel Jr., Patricia (Brian) Milot, Ann Beaver, Janet (John) Rodenhouse, Gini (Charles) Darden, & Barbara (Daniel) Utz; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Joan Haag as well as many devoted nieces & nephews; & close family & friends.
Mary Lou was an avid writer of prose and poetry. Her writings reflected her love of life, her family, and her Lord and Savior. She had a passion for life and a thirst to learn.
Mary Lou's Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 10 at 1:00PM at Browncroft Community Church, 2530 Browncroft Blvd., followed by calling hours from 2:00-4:00PM.
