Mary Florence Morgan

Mary Florence Morgan passed away peacefully in her sleep, at home on Monday October 16, 2023 at the age of 64. She is survived by her brother Michael Moran (Vanessa Capogreco) of Irondequoit, NY; sister-in-law Deirdre Moran of New York, NY, niece Bridget Moran of Boston, Ma.; nephew Kevin John Moran III of Renton, Wa.; & many cousins in NY, Texas, Florida. Mary is predeceased by husband Paul Morgan, mother Helen Moran, father Kevin John Moran, sister Katherine Lahtonen (James Lahtonen), brother Kevin John Moran II.

A infectious laugh & bright smile made Mary a friend to thousands during her lifetime. This 5-year plus breast cancer survivor was a warrior who enjoyed the nightlife, reggae music and travel with multiple trips to Europe, the Caribbean and Las Vegas, where she married the love of her life in 1995.

She recently retired after over 40 years in public service to the citizens of Nassau County on Long Island, NY & relocated to Webster, NY - where life is worth living - to spend her retirement years living closer to brother Michael.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 9:30am in the Chapel of St. John of Rochester located at 8 Wickford Way in Fairport, NY. A short reception will follow the mass. "Celebration of Life" events for Mary are being planned for Spring/Summer 2024 on Long Island & in Webster.
