Mary Valerio Napoli

May 5, 1928 — February 3, 2020

Mary Valerio Napoli passed away on February 3, 2020, predeceased by her husband Anthony "Nippy" Napoli.

Mary was a strong and loving woman who to the end stayed true to herself. Her passing was marked by her same stoic presence. She was always clear, focused and determined, offering nurturing guidance. Mary and Nippy taught their children how to love fully, work intensely and approach each new day as a new one. She will be missed by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

As an avid and enthusiastic bridge player, and highly social and loving, Mary maintained lifelong relationships with siblings, neighbors and fellow bridge players. Playing cards was by far her favorite pastime she carried through her entire life.

She is survived by her sister Rita Clement, brother John (Nan) Valerio and sister in-laws Lu Knox and Joanne Napoli, five children and spouses; Lucille (Agostino) Coccia, Michael (Nancy) Napoli, MaryAnn (Ken) McAlpin, Jimi (Hans) Napoli-Bulteryst and Lisa (Richard) Meagher and grandchildren Dan (Cara) Coccia, Chris (Dustin) Tuccillo, Michael (Sarah) Napoli, Catherine Napoli Gehring, AJ Napoli, Richard (Jennifer) VanDyne, Robert (Jessica) VanDyne, Nicole (James) Steffan, Frank (Angela) McAlpin, Matt (Whitney) McAlpin, Lisa (Brian) Brummert, Luca Napoli-Bulteryst, Anthony Napoli-Bulteryst, C. Gary (Kasey) Spaniak III and Samantha Spaniak , 20 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
